I just finished an area tour with two new staff member who were interested in what is going on in southeast Lincoln County. They were amazed at what they saw. Just 25 minutes from downtown Charlotte (straight up Hwy 16), southeast Lincoln County has it all. Upscale homes subdivision on Lake Norman like Sailview, golf course communities with rolling landscape of Verdict Ridge near the town of Denver ( yes Denver, NC) or Cowans Ford to homes of all sizes with large lots, horse properties in suburban or rural settings. The town of Denver has all the basics including a restaurant called Stacy’s. The place was packed and the menu has wide variety of choices from Greek food, home-style breakfasts to seafood You can tell it is one of the hot spots of the area. The new expansion of Hwy 16 North into a four lane expressway has made the trip one of Charlotte’s easiest commutes. Just a few miles past the outer I-485 loop which provides easy access to the airport, North Lake Mall and the rest of the Charlotte metro area this area is poised for the next housing boom. Lincoln County has one of the lowest tax rates of all counties in the Charlotte Metro area. The Lincoln County schools are highly rated with most of them being fairly new.

Matt Williams:
I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2000 with a BS in Communication, Advertising. I lived in Colorado briefly after college and worked for Vail Resorts. After returning to North Carolina in 2002, I studied to become licensed in real estate appraising. Once licensed, I practiced in both Salisbury and Raleigh. I moved to Charlotte in 2004 and started my own appraisal company, Matthew R. Williams Appraisals. Through appraising, I’ve been exposed to many different markets in the Charlotte Metro area. After providing quality and trustworthy appraisal services with a commitment to customer service for the past 6 years, I felt that I could also provide these same services through real estate brokerage. In my spare time I enjoy fishing, skiing, attending sporting events, and time with my wife Courtney and our dog.

In 2010, my Dad passed away, and we had to sell his house. Molly Collins was recommended to us by another Realtor. Molly proved to be a very professional, knowledgeable and caring young woman. She was always available to us when we had questions, concerns or just needed someone to listen and give advice on what to do next. Molly used her expertise to promote the selling of the home and got it sold!
Molly's positive attitude, warm and friendly personality and guidance throughout the ups and downs of selling the house was truly a blessing. I feel that she is an excellent Realtor and an asset to Helen Adams Realty. Not only was she our Realtor, but she became my friend.
