Charlotte Real Estate News The Charlotte Mecklenburg DOT contacted Helen Adams Realty today with an update on the Selwyn Road Priject The DOT is considering changing part of Selwn Road from 4 lanes to 3 lanes and adding traffic circles. The final plan has not had final approval yet, but a decision is expected soon. I was told that Selwyn Road work will be done during 2009. This could mean the resurfacing or the total rework of the street. Selwyn Avenue is scheduled to be resurfaced as part of the City’s resurfacing contract for 2009. CDOT is currently analyzing the possibility of applying a street conversion to Selwyn Avenue. We would like to hear what the Selwyn Avenue area residents, and the general commuting public, think about a Selwyn Avenue street conversion. I would very much like to say that Charmaine did a great job for us. She was very hardworking, thorough, and above all very patient with us given all of our needs. She was always ready and willing to go out and look at houses on a moments notice. She also kept herself well versed on new houses coming onto the market that were potential homes for our family.
